The legendary Bronx crew adds another classic to their catalogue with ‘Ultra Laboratory Stories’, an album delving deep into the Ultra lab vaults of unreleased vintage and current tracks produced solely by TR and Moe Luv. The music ranges from their early years during ‘Critical Beatdown’ all the way up to ‘The Four Horsemen’. The more current tracks stay the course and continue the New York rap sound that started heavy in the Bronx. Kool Keith, in Rhythm X mode, Ced Gee, Tim Dog plus new affiliate Fred Beanz deliver clever wordplay over hard, grimy beats programmed on the SP1200. The distinctive sound will not disappoint true Ultramagnetic MCs fans as this does not stray from their legacy and is consistent with their high calibre of releases.

N.B.! This is my personal rip from few years ago. Solid album but it was mastered lossy. I remember I was insulted few years ago by another blogger who said I upconverted this. I doubt the guy ever owned a CD and had heard the fact how some releases tend to me mastered lossy. The rip has log and cue + all scans included.
