CD1 - Goin' Off
CD2 - 20FOE-7UM
Hey, it's spring in here and I bring another batch. It will be split in 20 big ones. Check the scheduled list ON HERE. Some additions to the list may occur though.
In a nutshell - this one is a 2nd part of Dre's early mix collection called Roadium Swap Meet (in Torrance, CA) Mixes '85 to '88 that have captured (on a record) the early career phase of Dr. Dre as a DJ of the World Class Wreckin' Cru and (a little bit later) a member of N.W.A. These live performances are dope testimony of these early days that will later be recognized as the roots of gangsta rap (or g-funk to be more precise because Ice-T and Schoolly D might disagree with me in regard of how gangsta rap was born). Records feature a mixture of dope songs of the era from NYC (LL Cool J, Kool G Rap & DJ Polo, Fat Boys, Eric B & Rakim, King Sun etc.), LA (World Class Wreckin' Cru, JJ Fad, King Tee etc), Miami Bass (2 Live Crew, Gigolo Tony), and overall 80's electro scene (Kraftwerk, B.O.S.E etc).
N.B. - The CD releases; however, are mastered (as a lossy material) from tapes that were floating around in late 80's so do not expect the best sound quality in here.
